Beautiful Whale by Bryant Austin (Author), Sylvia Earle (Introduction). Photographer and conservationist Bryant Austin’s breathtaking photographic challenge Beautiful Whale is the primary of its variety: It chronicles his fearless makes an attempt to succeed in out for whales as fellow sentient beings. Featuring Austin’s intimate photos–some as detailed as a single haunting eye–that the outcome of encounters based mostly on mutual trust, Lovely Whale captures the grace and intelligence of those magnificent creatures. My pre-order copy simply arrived and I dropped every part to learn it. And marvel over it. And delight over both the incredible images and the lyrical, empathetic narrative. I’ll admit that I was so transfixed by the photographs that I saved finding myself distracted from that narrative, so I am going to return to it shortly to present the commentary the eye which is its due. Those that usually are not already whale nuts may nicely find themselves converted. And people of us who are will nod our heads in understanding that this work definitely will contribute to that conversion.
Superbly conceived and executed!

If you wish to cry, this beautiful, astonishing, heart-rending work will do it. The precise bodily book is a triumph in itself, in some way managing to convey the dimensions and majesty of the fierce beauty of these beautiful beings. You will note the colour blue in previously unimagined ways. The author’s own advanced feelings, shared with total vulnerability, in addition to his devoted wrestle to achieve this multi-leveled murals, resonate throughout. His artistic and humanistic genius promise even larger achievements, and this author urges those that can provide support to future initiatives, to find a method to doo so.
