This book is fantastic. I just began the final spring with one beehive. I’ve purchased five or six different books, however none has been as useful as this one. It assumes that you do not know anything about beekeeping (that is me) and takes you through step by step and season by season. I have confidence that with the assistance of this guide, I can keep my “ladies” wholesome and happy. I spoke to someone at our local beekeepers meeting who has been a beekeeper for nearly 50 years. Once I told him I was reading this book. He advised me that it is without doubt one of the very best. I extremely advocate this book for the start beekeeper.
Creator Mr. Howland Blackiston does a GREAT job introducing the fascinating interest of bee keeping. The ebook is broad and generalized and touches on nearly everything, together with some well-written in depth detail. Bravo! A “will need to have” for the beginner! It even has a COLOR inset! Mr. Blackiston promotes his website in his e-book on several occasions. That is okay though, it’s a first rate web site even thought the supplies are a bit over priced, sometimes more than a bit. I emailed Mr. Blackiston about this statement and, in his protection, he noted that you just CAN get a few “exhausting-to-find” gadgets there, so I’m certain they’d be worth it. The e-book is a MUST have but store around a bit before you purchase dang close to something online from any site. I have simply ordered my first hive package and I’m wanting forward to putting Mr. Blackistons good advice to work!
