One Hundred Butterflies

One Hundred Butterflies by Harold Feinstein (Author), Fred Gagnon (Foreword). In One Hundred Butterflies, photographer Harold Feinstein showcases butterfly varieties from all over the world, turning beautiful details into mesmerizing works of art. Feinstein's breathtaking pictures capture the colour, vibrancy, and infinite number of patterns that happen on the wings of these ornate insects. 100 impeccably reproduced, oversized images allow viewers to appreciate the Blue Morpho of Central America, the African Birdwing, and the Asian Swallowtail at a scale and depth unimaginable to experience in nature. An elegantly printed deluxe reward book, it's a treasure for butterfly fans and artwork lovers alike.

It is a BEAUTIFUL, giant book.
It measures about 12"x12" (which means, it is *massive*- undoubtedly espresso desk size) and within it's nothing however individual pictures of butterflies (nicely, in addition to the introduction and the opening and closing pages).

Each shiny and thick page consists of one huge photograph of a single butterfly, and each butterfly is completely positioned on a black background so you possibly can see every detail. The picture of the quilt is EXACTLY what fills the within of the e-book- there are not some group pictures (besides on the liner of the covers), no "in-nature" photographs, no pictures of butterflies flying or at relaxation, no profile shots. Simply large, detailed pictures of flat butterflies on black backgrounds.

While the book is beautiful as an espresso desk book, my actual function for it to make use of it as an information to drawing and portray butterflies. It is a PERFECT addition to any art library as a result of the butterflies are in sharp and vivid detail.

I highly recommend this large, awe-inspiring book. If you are in search of photos of butterflies of their component, flitting in nature and with colorful backgrounds of flora and fauna, that is *not* that book. But if you're interesting within the intricate and infinite fantastic thing about the butterfly itself, with no "distraction", this can be a perfect book.

This book is fantastic. I make butterflies and moths from polymer clay. I particularly like that this ebook exhibits a number of of the specimen's topsides and undersides. I'm wanting forward to using this book.
